Mr. Deutsch’s practice focuses in the areas of Administrative Law, Gaming Law, Governmental Regulatory Law and Litigation, Legislative Practice, and Tax Law. Mr. Deutsch is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Missouri, United States Court of Appeals, Eighth Circuit, and has argued before the United States Supreme Court. He is a former General Counsel for the Missouri Department of Revenue (1981-1983), former Chief Commissioner of the Missouri Administrative Hearing Commission (1983-1989) and former Chief Deputy Attorney General for Missouri (1989-1993). He also served as a staff attorney for the Great Plains Legal Foundation, a public interest law firm, and was in private practice in Kansas City, Missouri from 1978 until 1981.
